Why choose MLS 100 DustCAPTURE®
MLS 100 DustCAP® bars reduce respirable dust by 30-40% and is self-metering which eliminates metering devices such as venturi or digital electronic metering required for dispensing liquid detergents. These solid bars are designed to dissolved in very hard mine water.
MLS 100 DustCAP® bars reduces or eliminates lime and iron scale build-up in the water lines and sprays. As a result of no lime or iron buildup occurring in the system, much less maintenances is required reducing mine costs even further when using our MLS 100 DustCAP® System.
MLS 100 DustCAP® bars are temperature and flow sensitive and are designed to work in water at 35º F to 85º F effectively and at flow rates up to 600 gpm.
With a concentration of 2000 to 1, MLS 100 DustCAP® bars reduce the surface tension to 26.9 dynes/cm of hard mine water to well under 45 dynes/cm² to attain maximum wetting of the dust. The reduced surface tension allows the treated water to we, suppress, and reduce the respirable dust in the sprayed area.
MLS 100 DustCAP® bars are biodegradable, nontoxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable, non-carcinogenic, and is safe and cost effective to use and can be stored underground safely and must be kept in a cool (below 70º F) dry area.
Easy to install MLS 100 DustCAP® dispenser units. Five to twenty vars are initially installed in the dispenser and then additional bars can be added easily every eight hours of operation depending on the flow rate and time in operation.
Colloid contains a non-static element and a wetting agent which will wet coal, clay, slate, shale, silica dust and electrostatic ally shared particles very well.
Simple! Simple! Simple! Periodic samples of the water taken from a spray nozzle into a bottle is the method used to determine diversion valve and/or use a larger orifice opening at the dispenser.
Unlike competition that provides liquid and metering, MLS 100 DustCAP® bars are installed closer to working areas which reduces the need to treat thousands of feet of water flowing in from the mine entrance. Also eliminates the potential to loss (which often happens) when a water main starts leaking or breaks! Another solid cost reducing advantage!
Past field testing with BAR products indicated, with solid data capture, that BAR products consistently outperformed the competitive liquid products by getting the water wetter faster.
